					I wanted to share the excellent experience we had with Midland Travel, more specifically with our agent, Alejandro. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids ages 9 and 11 visiting Galapagos and Lima, Peru. Alejandro put together a wonderful itinerary for our family in the months prior. On our first day in Quito, my son got altitude sickness quite badly. We decided we had to change the rest of our trip because our other destinations were also at high altitude. Alejandro quickly modified our trip and put our minds at ease. We had the best time despite not being able to follow our original plan in a potentially worrisome situation while already abroad especially with kids. Alejandro is understanding, quick to respond, and an expert at knowing what might be the best for your situation. All the details and logistics were planned above expectations including transfers, activities, tour guides, etc. I could not have asked for a better experience. Our family has the best memories from this trip we will treasure forever. I highly recommend Midland Travel and Alejandro as your travel expert. 					Five star experience in Peru! Just did a trip to Peru, organized by Midland Travel. Five stars experience!The agency created the schedule for us tailored to our interests. We were picked up and driven back to hotel in time. English speaking guides allowed to fully enjoy the culture and history of the country. Hotels were very decent quality. Fabulous attractions in Lima, Cuzco and Puno. Very strongly recommend the service! When organized, the travel is very efficient; you just cannot visit all desired places on your own - time is so short.Next year I am planning another trip to Easter Island with the same agency. 					30 days of travelling Ecuador with Midland Travel was excellent. We booked most of our 30 days touring Ecuador with Alejandro Sanchez. The Ikala Hotel in Quito is a real gem! From Baños to Cuenca and stops in between, Guillermo, our driver and guide for 8 days, was so knowledgeable of the best places to stop for the sights...the Devils nose, cultural ...the llama center, the Inca ruins...Ingapirca and the tours around old town Cuenca and Quito. He also was very accomodating when we wanted to change plans. We felt very comfortable and safe with his driving and guiding. He also took us to Mindo and knew the best place to stop for a delicious lunch and to see the humming birds and other gorgeous birds of the Cloud Forest. He advocated for us when we were confused at the airport with luggage allowances. We felt very cared for. As we did with Alejandro who was so attentive when we were putting our trip together. Excellent communication and service!! You booked us into the best lodge to see the Amazon rainforest...Sani Lodge. We trust Midland to put the best trip together for us!Thank you!! 					5/5 star experience. I booked Bonita Yacht 7 days 6 nights to Galapagos. Alejandro Sanchez was my travel agent and he is extremely helpful. I mean he is literally responding the same day within minutes of your question, and even on the weekends or holidays. He personally met me at the airport in Quito to help me with transfer to Baltra island for Galapagos cruise. I did all the booking and asked many questions of Alejandro via email and he walked me through every step of trip planning and my concerns. the transaction was easy and he was very transparent about the pricing structure which I found to be trustworthy. I highly recommend for the international travelers to book via Alejandro, he will take care of you and he is a trustworthy agent. I did not meet him until at the airport in Quito but I felt safe doing all the business with him and indeed he did not let me down, everything was exactly as advertised in fact even better. this was the trip of a lifetime! i will use his services again. 					Excellent choice for Quito, Guayaquil, the Amazon or Galapagos Midland Travel is local Ecuadorian company that helped coordinate our journey through Ecuador. We had a mix of short city tours with a driver and guide, visited the Cuyabeno region of the Amazon, and sailed through some islands in the Galapagos.Alejandro was exceedingly helpful from beginning to end, providing useful advice and excellent options to consider. His recommendations turned out to be spot on, and the guides he works with are locals who speak good English. 					Alejandro was a joy to work with! I booked a trip to the Galapagos less than 48 hours before departure and he made everything go seamless - from the live aboard booking to hotel reservations in Quito, ground transportation, and a group tour to Quilotoa on the mainland. He checked in at every milestone to make sure I had everything I needed and reminded me of important details throughout. He filled out the paperwork I needed, offered options to make travel go more smoothly, made sure my special dietary needs were accommodated, was immediately responsive at all hours, and even dropped by one of my hotels to welcome me in person and give me local snacks for my journey. He asked for honest reviews of the tour operators he booked for me and genuinely listened to my feedback. It's my first time ever using a travel agent and I can't wait for my next trip to the region so I can use Midland Travel again!

Some of the highlights in Ecuador were the Sani Lodge in the Amazon, Otavalo, city tour of Quito, Punanti and Bella Vista. All the wildlife is amazing and the scenery is fantastic.While in Peru, we enjoyed traveling to Lake Titicaca, Colca Canyon and hiking in the Rainbow Mountains. 					Beautiful country, friendly people, enormous nature This has been an absolutely gorgeous trip to Quito and Galapagos Islands. Equator line Intinan Museum with Inca's clock and interactive demonstrations; astounding Andes with their volcanos and vistas; Quito Historic District with its ornamented churches. And of course, the Galapagos, the pearl in its own beauty and uniqueness. Unforgettable experience. Alejandro was the essential part of that very positive impression. Crafted from simple materials like wood, cardboard, newspaper, and old clothes, these dolls are brought to life by local artisans who spend weeks transforming everyday objects into powerful symbols. You’ll see them lining streets and markets, each one telling a story.
