The visitor site Cormorant Point lies at the northernmost point of Floreana Island. The landing beach has a greenish color because of the presence of olivine crystals. From the beach, it is possible to see sea birds fishing.
After a short hike inland, you get to a brackish lagoon where you have the chance to observe flamingos. Following the trail through the arid vegetation with palo santo trees, you finally arrive at another beach. It is not permitted to snorkel at this beautiful beach because the water is infested with stingrays. However, if you watch closely, you can see stingrays, turtles and sometimes even sharks from ashore.

Highlights: Chance to see flamingos, greenish beach, palo santo trees
Permitted activities: Hiking, dinghy ride
Tip: Keep away from the upper parts of the landing beach because it is a turtles nesting site. Be careful when you walk along the second beach as the stingrays come close to the beach.

Activities and visits may vary according to the cruise.
