Espumilla Beach is a visitor site located at the northern part of James Bay on Santiago Island. Close to the golden landing beach, there is a small lagoon hidden behind mangroves. If you are lucky you can see different ducks and waders. A trail leads inland to an arid zone where the predominant plant is the palo santo tree. In this area, you can observe many different land birds and enjoy the beautiful landscape. Espumilla Beach is also a very good spot to practice snorkeling. It is possible to see rays, different fish and maybe even octopi.
