Urbina Bay is located across from Fernandina Island on the western coast of Isabela Island.
It is the best place to see giant tortoises completely in the wild. A trail leads from the landing beach to the arid inland where you will hopefully meet giant tortoises and land iguanas.
About one kilometer inland, you can find corals that are proof of the uplift that happened in 1954. Before the uplift, this area was underwater.
