Cruise the majestic Napo River and explore remote jungle areas, while enjoying the comforts and services of a 5-star boutique hotel on board the M/V Anakonda.
The Anakonda Amazon Cruise is a luxury flotel for up to 40 guests that features 18 spacious guestrooms with air conditioning and floor-to-ceiling windows. Four standard rooms are interconnected and therefore ideal for families. Each one of the four deluxe suites features a Jacuzzi and a private balcony.
The many spacious social areas include a bar, an outdoor lounge and an observation deck with two Jacuzzis.
While the Anakonda Amazon Cruise always stays on the Napo River, a small fleet of motor canoes will take you to remote places deep inside the rain forest for your daily activities.

Day 1 – Sunday: Quito – Coca – Napo River
- Arrival in Coca (Francisco de Orellana) and transportation to the M/V Anakonda
- Settle in on board – Introduction to the Ecuadorian Amazon by your naturalist guide
- Nighttime forest walk – Observe and listen to the jungle’s nocturnal activity
Day 2 – Monday: Pañacocha Biological Corridor
- Travel downstream to the Pañayacu River Delta
- Explore the Pañacocha Lake’s flooded blackwater ecosystem by canoe – Wildlife watching
- Nature walk
- Amazon-style BBQ
- Kayaking and swimming in the Pañacocha Lake – Return to the M/V Anakonda
- Lecture and educational documentary about the region
Day 3 – Tuesday: Parrot Clay Licks – Community Visit – Observation Tower
- Observe colorful parrots, parakeets and other amazon birds at the parrot clay licks
- Visit to the Quechua Cultural Center to learn about the Amazon communities
- Wildlife/bird watching from an observation tower
Day 4 – Wednesday: Return
- Navigation on the Napo River towards Coca – Disembark and motor canoe ride to Coca
