OVERVIEW
Key Features:
- Yasuni National Park area
- Owned and operated by the community
- Adventurous accommodation in tents
- Flexible activities
The Sani Campground is located at a secluded and tranquil area within the same-named reserve which covers 40,000 hectares of untouched primary rainforest. The reserve is home to 550 species of tropical birds and 13 species of monkeys.
This camping experience is a convenient and adventurous alternative to the traditional tours with accommodation in cabanas. Each tent is placed in simple cabins on a platform with two wooden walls and a thatched roof.
With your stay at the Sani Campground, you directly contribute to the sanitary, educational and sustainable projects of the Sani community.
Together with your guide, you can arrange your tour program and choose from a wide variety of activities including a 6-hour walk into the rainforest, bird watching from the look-out tower and fishing amongst others.
Note: Find a generalized tour schedule and useful information about the jungle (weather, transportation and a recommended packing list) here. If you want a detailed tour itinerary for this specific lodge, please contact one of our Midland Travel specialists.
