The Sani Lodge lies within the same-named reserve which covers 40,000 hectares of untouched primary rainforest and is home to 550 species of tropical birds and 13 species of monkeys.
At Sani Lodge you will always be attended by its owners – the people of Sani community – and the lodge's profits are used for healthcare, education and sustainable projects.
The lodge consists of 13 comfortable cabanas with private bathrooms. It lies at the beautiful black water lagoon Challuacocha. From the landing stage, you can observe caimans at night and the bar area is an excellent spot for bird watching.
There is a wide variety of activities you can choose from at Sani Lodge including a 6-hour walk into the rainforest, bird watching from the watching tower and fishing.
